Alzies world is having problems with the gas company. The gas company wants Alzie to pay for natural gas from her old address, because they say they did not get in for a final reading on the gas meter. She received this bill at the end of winter, when they forwarded the bill to her new new address. She moved the summer before and gave them move in dates, and move out dates, but some where it was lost in there system,(really I'm shocked) and they are billing her twice. The furnace was never turned on at the old house so no gas was used, anyway the gas company compiled a bill from the year before (like an average)and billed her like 600 dollars.(like is she suppose to just pull that out of her ass)
Alzie calls the gas company and try's to explain her side of the story but doors kept getting shut in her face.(hard to) So Alzie calls the Utilities Commission. Alzie gets a recording and leaves her phone number. A couple of days later they called back and take her information.The young man that Alzie spoke to there said it did not look good because they did not get a final reading on the gas meter. When he hung up he said that he would try to help.
Why are gas meters placed inside the house? Alzie has no access to the gas meter. The bank owns the house because when Bill passed over there was no will, and the bank would not even talk to Alzie about the house. Now the house is locked up and the Gas company wants to take Alzie for a ride. No one lives in the house so Alzie wonders if she breaks in will the gas know that ? Should she just set up a time for the gas company to come over, and break a window, and let them in for there reading, would any one care?(hmm that's a thought)
What is Alzie going to do? What would you do? If this was your family member what would they do? When Alzie figures this out she will let you know and if you don't hear from her she might be in jail, so please send bail money....ttfn.
